Graham Colton performed at Elmira College tonight, at a private show booked by our own long time staff member Cassie. He was presented with a Certificate Of Appreciation plaque for his contribution to our March Of Dimes Charity Auctions. He also recieved a case of Dr. Pepper as a gift from the KCKellyville.com staff, which Graham was extremely thankful for as the airline didn't have any Dr. Pepper on the flight (Graham's own words).

HOUSTON -- A man accused of using American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson's name to steal confessed to being a con, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday. Adam Fuller, 27, admitted only to Local 2 that he has been a con artist for the last 10 years, the station reported. "I seen how easy it was -- this conning," said Fuller. "I was just doing it." "What do you think now that you're in handcuffs?" asked Local 2's Elizabeth Scarborough. "It was wrong, I shouldn't have done it. I should have done something legitimate," said Fuller. Houston police said he walked into a local Ford dealership claiming to be an associate of the pop star and was able to talk his way into a brand-new Ford F150. "Luckily one of dispatchers saw a report on channel 2," said Capt. Mark Herman with Harris County Precinct 4. He then spotted the truck in northwest Harris County Friday. "We began looking in area and found the truck at a country club," said Herman. They also found Fuller, who said he'd been driving the stolen truck around. He even tried to convince deputies it was his. "I told them my father bought in for me," said Fuller. "Why Kelly Clarkson?" Scarborough asked. "I studied her while I was in prison. I learned her MO and figured I could just use that," said Fuller. He said he used Clarkson's name all the time. "I was in and out of a lot of parties and sporting events all because of what I was saying and doing," said Fuller. So how does he think Kelly Clarkson will react? "She's probably going to laugh and go who is this guy?" said Fuller. Fuller is charged with felony theft. He was wanted in two other states. HOUSTON -- A man used a Texas-native pop star's name to con a Ford dealership out of a pickup truck, officials told KPRC Local 2 Thursday "He had made his appointment and kept it," said Officer Jim Woods with the Houston Police Department's Auto Theft Unit. "He said he was an associate of Kelly Clarkson." That's right -- Kelly Clarkson, the first winner of "American Idol." She is originally from Burleson, Texas, near Fort Worth. "He said she was in town looking to buy her sister a brand new Ford F-150," said Woods. "They showed it to him and he said that was exactly what she was looking for." Police said the man convinced the sales manager to drive the truck to the Westin Galleria hotel, so he could show the pop star her potential purchase in person. The man and the sales manager valet-parked the truck and went inside, detectives said. "They sat there a few minutes, talked about the truck, then he got up and said he would go get Clarkson to have her take a look," said Woods. But he never came back. Police said the man took off with the truck, worth about $50,000. "The guy was very smooth," said Woods. Smooth enough to also fool a woman who was staying in the Westin. "He actually told her his name was Justin Gambino and that he was from New York," said Woods. She took this photo on her phone while they were spending some time together. "When she got back to New York, she realized her credit card was missing. She immediately called it in as stolen and noticed there were several purchases made in Houston," said Woods. She said she hopes the photo will help get him caught before he finds his next victim. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. for original story and news video: http://www.click2houston.com:80/news/16130815/detail.html
