Yes all her albums are pop, but not that specific kind of pop of ear candy pop if you know what i mean.

I wouldnt call MD pop as I dont know of a pop music that is also dark music. I guess I look at pop as a little bit more upbeat music

the economy might make it so the album sales might not be as high volume but singles from itunes and other sites can still be huge and probably be higher if ppl dont buy the entire album

I hope its a combination of Breakway and My December. However, I think we just have to wait and see cause you never know what an album will sound like till it comes out.

Kelly constantly said in interviews how it's "more rock"
it was just pop rock, basically.  it's a pop album, and it's also pretty equivalent to breakaway...that album didn't have all happy sunshiney songs either. for exampe BTHE, BOY, Addicted, WIYH, IHMFLY...that's almost half the album. You just can't make people happy.

as for the new cd, i feel it'll still have kelly's sound to it as her others do, but the music will be different, obvs.
