@penguin384: yes artamous was referring to me the whole time. however,  the arugment is over with cuz i think its obvious that AIEW is the most commercial record she has done... i'm growing to love it though (although i'm only in the like stage now).

we still disagree on thankful being more commcercialized then the other 3 and disagree where we stand with MD.  AIEW has been "commecrialized" more by all the advertising

Yea, thats a good point about the advertising.. I personally love all Kelly's albums and how she takes a different direction with each.

Oh no. I only think Thankful is more commercial than Breakaway and My December. I made the arugment that Thankful was the most commercial album before listening to All I Ever Wanted. Now my answer for the most commercial KC album is All I Ever Wanted. I don't remember arguing much with you about MD other than that your reasoning for not liking it has to deal with its commercial value. I don't beleive I argued with you on the quality of the work or anything like that.

@both Art and Penguin384: Music is a lot about marketing. We wouldn't be talking about which album is the most commercial or mainstream if marketing didn't matter.
Stranger I know so well
You got me tripping over myself
Can't trust in you...
Cause as I reach for your hand
I still sink into quicksand
Isn't my good side worth rescuing?

thankful had no marketing in any way. The first time I heard of kelly was watching videos on yahoo music and asking who in the world is the kelly chick that sings low and I had no idea who she was and almost blocked the video so I didnt see her again. SUBG was the video that I really got to know her by and saw so much more from breakaway on mtv and vh1.

I still dont see this one coming close to competiting with breakaway for sales.

I have my own theory with leaks and dont think it hurts near as much as ppl make it sound. Most every album "leaks" these days and if a person is a die hard fan even if they have the leak for months they willl still buy it, leaks can also draw additional ppl to buying

as for even a 16 yr old who affords the internet being able to afford a copy there is a thing similar to my younger life where most likely parents pay for the internet service and wont just buy a cd because it is asked for, would you rather have the internet that is practically required in life these days or give it up for the album if things are so great financially.

I think the album is going to do half decent, I dont think it will do as well as breakaway and doubt it will get off to the start taylor swifts most recent album has but they are 2 different types with taylor being country
