I voted for Kris Allen (three times last night). In my opinion, Kris nailed his performances of "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone" and "What's Going On." I didn't like this season's "Idol" song. The song's lyrics didn't inspire or move me (compared to "A Moment Like This," "Inside Your Heaven," or "Time of Your Life").
that song Kara wrote was the absolute worse coronation song ever. Victory for either party will be bittersweet as they'll have to sing this awful song. Anyway overall the night was a tossup.
Round 1: Kris- mad world wasn't as good as the first time and you could hear a decent amount of improvement in Kris' performance.
Round 2: Adam- both choices were bad and both did what they could with it. Adam however, is the one i'll remember more. Kris's performance was good but lack the wow moment needed for a final two performance.
Round 3: we all lose- they bothed sucked. Kris technically sucked more but Adam had no emotion in the music and it was the first time he seemed to be off key (for quite a bit of it too). Both struggled and its a shame the season had to end this way.
Winner is gonna depend on how viewers think of this competition.
If they see it was a technical singing competition then Adam will win.
If they see it was finding a new mainstream artist competition then Kris will win.
