NO, she didnt say she WAS going to the AI finale! She said anything is possible, but i dont really see it happening.  Its a bad idea.  She has made an effort to distance herself, she would just be wasting that work if she went back.

And I don't really think that she tried to make a distanse, but I think that the public just sees her as, u know, Kelly Clarkson now, not Kelly Clarkson -  a winner from american idol..  cause she is THAT good .. Know what I mean ? LOL

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Kelly is VERY good. No-one knows her as an American Idol anymore. I really hope that possibility turns into reality!

I hope she'll visit AI, maybe even perform in one of the shows! Doesn't matter whether if she's trying to distance herself away from AI, it'll always be good PR to revisit to your roots. She'll be remembered as a great artist that the contestants can look up to, not just an American Idol winner.

i dont think she needs to distance herself from AI , she blew them out of the water ages ago.
some of my friends didnt even know she was on american idol ! they aint as kelly mad as i am though lol. when they told me i laughed and thought they were joking
