have anyone notice that kelly's voice is getting hoarse and weaker?in the Reba's tribute her voice broke too..she's been doing so much rock lately and maybe that hurt her vocal chords..i'm really worried for her..i don want her to lose a beautiful voice..can someone pls persuade her to stop doing so much rock???pls..every other kelly fans like me,if you really like kelly so much then pls try to stop her...

i think shes gonna be fine...shes recording right now, and shes probly under a lot of stress with her new album coming out. and you gotta remember its november (hehe that rhymed and reminded me of v for vendetta) and she might have a cold er somethin. remember when she got sick last year? her voice is probably just tired. she'll be fine

lol I thought she sounded pretty good too...I heard from another person that thought her voice was cracking though too. But if you think about it, it's SUCH a big show, I'm sure she was rehearsing like crazy to get through it and to do her best. She's probly just tired.

I agree wholeheartedly. She sounded terrific on the Reba special.

Kelly has one of those voices that is so special and so powerful. But, it is a little fragile. I can definitely see where concern would come from a lot of fans. I know I have worries about her voice too when I hear of her getting sick and having vocal issues. Hopefully we can all just continue to keep her in our thoughts and well wishes... and she'll continue ruling the music world! Two more awards tonight... she's the best!

Yeah. I think Kelly is just under a lot of stress and her vocal chords must probably be a little tired. I mean, she had 24 shows on her tour earlier and now she's recording a new album. In between she has to do interviews and rehearse for stuff like the Reba tribute. I think it's understandable that you worry about her voice. But I also think it's understandable that her voice gets hoarse every now and again. But even though Kelly is a workaholic and LOVES what she does, I don't think she will continue like this if she thinks it would cause permanent damage to her vocal chords. I think Kelly can be very thankful for fans like you who worry about her vocal chords! Woohoo!

ya but ya know whos voice doesn't get hoarse every now and again its just natural that someone that uses their voice for a living is going to lose it every now and again. so i really don't think it is anything to worry about and if Kelly was worried about it she would take a break and slow down cuz she really wants the new cd to great. i really don't think there is anything to worry about Kelly is a great singer and even if her voice did go out she would still be better than half the singers out there

yea i wonder if her voice is the same cuz wen she sang does he l u in 2002 she had no struggle at all and had more power. Its weird her voice goes really well with country and blues but wen shes like  subg, its sounds raw and seems its hard to sing. but ya

The cool thing about being a star is that they have so many people around them to take care of them. I'm sure they'll tell her if she's pushing herself too hard. It'll be fine.

And I love her doing rock! I think what she's been doing w/ SUBG live is fantastic. Kelly's a pro. She knows what she's doing.

sometimes i do get worried that kellys vocal chords might be damaged, but then i remember that when her live performances were perfect was when she wasnt in the spotlight 24/7. now with increased success, she has to do more, so im not really that worried. plus this time of the year brings illnesses, so that might contribute to it. i thought she wqas wonderful on the reba tribute

yeah i agree with y'all and seriously, i like it better when she sings country. even if she sang opera i would like her but lets not go there. but anywho, i think she would be even bigger in the country music industry.
It's her life. let her do whatever she wants. Kelly deserves it.

Omg, when I read this topic, I swear my heart skipped a few beats! After everything with the President's daughter being mugged and stuff, I was scared that something happened to her. okay. I'm calm now.  lol. (I was just thinking if my mom found me dead on the floor that she would wonder why I had a heart attack and it would've been because someone said Kelly was in trouble...lol...wow ...I can't stop laughing...okay, I'm rambling...) anyway, I did realized that Kelly's voice cracked a bit but I've heard it do that before. I'm a little worried but Kelly's a big girl and she knows what she's doing.  If she's had too much, she'll know it.  I absolutely love her to death and her music but she HAS been pushing it...I mean, she's had so many tours all ready that I get them mixed up!!! I know she's fine now...I'm just worried about her in the long run.  I mean, Julie Andrews also sang all her life and damaged her vocal cords, had surgery, and now she can't sing too much anymore.  I really hope that doesn't happen to Kelly. Wow...I'm rambling too much and still thinking of my mom staring at me on the floor and then seeing the KcKellyville window on the screen...hahahaha.. .wow....
