I also ask myself that same question: what about Kelly's sister? I've heard not too many things abou her, only that she was separated from Kelly and Jason when they parents got divorced.

There is the possibility that Alyssa is shy of the spotlight. Kelly does mention her at times during interviews and such. Besides Jason we really don't know much about her family, besides a few parent interviews in beginning. Do we know about her grandma? Her cousins? if any. Don't go looking them up. I'm just pointing out we know less about her family than we think. With Jason, Kelly is a tomboy so personality wise they seem to get along well. Plus he works for Kelly so his job is to be around her.

When a family goes through a tragedy everyone feels the effect. Just because her sister isnt seen much with her doesnt mean she doesnt support her or talk to her on a regular basis. Unfortunately most fans think just because an artist is in the spot light everything associated with them has to be. It's nothing wrong to think about it but dont dwell on it. Jason is Kelly's assistant so yes he will be seen from time to time but not everywhere. He needs his privacy as well. This goes for her friends also. Kelly needs normalcy in her life so she just cant abandon her support system. This holds true to not just her but all celebrities. It is unfortunate that those related or connected to celebrities privacy suffers because people think that they have to right to know EVERYTHING in that celebrity circle. But Kelly's sister has a family and her own life to live just like Kelly. Think about it.. if fans distant themselves just a little bit then maybe there will be a post here and there from Kelly or her friends who have posted before but dont count on it. They may have the feeling "been there done that" and its their choice. But to summarize everything, Everyone in Kelly's circle support her family and friends even if they are far apart in distance.

just some facts that have already been made public by Kelly and her family...
1. If Jason wasn't working for Kelly, he'd be out of all the fame just like Allyssa. But since he works for Kelly, you see him alot where she is.
2. Allyssa and her family live on the east coast (like that's a secret, North Carolina), Kelly's mom moved there a couple of years ago. They take care of the fan mail sent to the PO box (hence why the PO box is in Hickory, NC).
3. Just like Jebbie and all Kelly's friends, they were on the sites alot in the beginning t promote Kelly and help her career get a start.. her career is going good, and they ahve gone back to their own lives. None of them asked for fans to bug them all the time, one of their closest friends jsut happened to have a job that makes ehr famous. Kelly's sister does not want to be famous, she just wants to live her life and support her sister. Her kids also don't need everyone they go to school with bugging them to meet Kelly, or picking on them because they have a famous aunt.. think about that a minute.
4. it's no secret about how Kelly and her siblings grew up.. when Kelly's dad left, Allssa went to live with an aunt, and Jason went to live with his dad, it was just Kelly and her mom, then her step-dad. That arrangement was mostly due to financial reasons, Kelly does not come from a family that has money.. they wrked hard to keep going and get where they are today, and if you check some old interivews, Kelly helped them alot when she won idol by helping her mom buy a house among other things (I can only mention what has been mentioned in interivews, sorry)

Mostly while Kelly was growing up, Mary, Ashley and a few others were her family, sicne she didn't see her siblings that often, and it's why she's still close with Ashley and Mary to this day. In spite of what some may think, she did not know Jebbie back then, she met Jebbie when Jebbie was the asst manager of the movie theater in Burleson and hired Kelly. Jebbie is a bit odler than the rest, and graduated a few years before everyone else.

I feel kinda dumb b/c I didn't know this, but Kelly is an aunt? lol I didn't know her sister had kids. Just wondering, but do u know how much older Alysa is than Kelly? And how old is her brother? lol. yeah, just wondering.
