         One thing that's frustrated me since I started posting was message boards with little or no form of moderation.So what happens?Either eveything turns in an insult throwing competion OR people make inappropriate comments or gestures and get away with it.On one board I've posted on,things got SO bad that me and a buddy of mine have had to "bully the Bullies" of you know what I mean.We decided that if the mods there wouldn't do anything,WE WOULD.So you might call us the internet version of vigialantes.Good?No,it not.But neccesary!! Definatly.And I've seen problems on alot of other boards with no moderation either.I won't name any of them and no,not all internet boards are like that.But the ones that are need serious help.You'd ALL be very shocked at what you can read on some of these boards out there.Well,I just wanted to rant for a second and say that I'm glad THIS board has moderation.God Bless.

that reminds me a little about the Inner Machine message board, the board on the GGD fanclub....lots of insults fly by there, the mods don't care as long as no one is posting links for people to download stuff.......

Yeah the net is abused so much its ridiculous.

Its like bullying and rudeness isnt already too common in everyday life without cyber adopting the trend also.

its just stupid how everyone argues all of the time. i dont see why people get their fun out of bullying because it isnt fun its just mean and horrible and i think that if anyone says its fun then they are lying.

Oh,I agree with you.when I first started posting I was treated well,I won't say it on this board,you get a good idea.But once I learned to defend myself,suddenly these same people who can dish it out can't take it,which I have to say is pretty darn funny.

i dont see the point in argueing on boards, were all here becuase we are fans of kelly clarkson, dont know why people argue when everyone is entitled to their own opinion

Now I dont mean to be nasty about boards but I find the official fansite for Kelly really rude ... I mean you can't even have an opinion there sometimes ... The express can be rude as well but aren't that bad ... although they sometimes are to the new members!
KV is one of the nicest KC sites in my opinion and Im not just saying that .. but it is because everyone is respectful for others opinions.

I havent really tried any other boards .. but sites like myspace and bebo are full of rude people!!

the fanclub can be rude,but on other non-Kelly related boards,it is far worse.but the thing about the Kelly fan club is when ever someone makes a post in Kelly convo,some people get hostile,and it's not because of the post either.It's a friends thing.People think that they and their friends own the forum and that it's ok for them to post ANYTHING (and I mean Anything) they want,but when someone else posts their,they jump on the person,no matter what the post is about.They tried that with me,when I first joined up,and they found out,I wasn't taking their crap.Now,someone else is geting picked on there.It can be sickening sometimes.

I hate people who cyber bully or do any bullying for that matter. I mean it's just plain mean and horrible. It doesnt do any good to the bullyer or the person being bullied. I hate hate hate hate &,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are.and what's worse,too often,they are the FIRST people to go to the mods the moment they even FEEL insulted.That's what really sickening.It's what reffered to on some boards as "baiting".They throw an insult or inappropriate post at someone,wait for them to respond,then scream "Moderator",at the top of their lungs.Some mods don't look for the post that actually started the whole thing,only what the person complaining is talking about,so sometimes the wrong person ends up getting banned.Fortunatly,not all boards have mods who are that ignorant. Also,some boards are a friends thing,where some people can post anything they want and get away with it,while others are being juped on for any thing they might say if their opinion is contrary to what others might think.It's a sad thing,it really is.

hey sport i have seen your other posts and you are fine.....yes the official place can be a bit mean...but i have found nothing but nice folks here. we are all just a group of people who are kc fans........glad you are here.  hope that bad experience does not scare you away.  like i said, everyone i have encountered is gosh darn nice!

I've noticed that.Even on the fan club,the people are nicer than the nonKelly related boards,with the exception of a few people.I hope the fan club doesn't degenerate into some of the other boards I've been on.On some of these,I actually used to attach a disclaimer to my posts,which is a sad thing to have to do.So yeah,THIS right here is the best board I've posted on.The reason for this is because alan and co are going to keep problems from coming on and chasing people away.If only other places would do this.God Bless.

I grew up in a crappy nieghborhood.I live far better now than I did back then,but I'm definately not rich.I don't know Kelly Clarkson,the Dallas Cowboys,Chuck Norris,or the person who invented Ding Dongs.I'm not the Prince of South America,and I don't have the Lord God's e-mail address.
I don't live in a 5 mile long,billion room,miltikazillion dollar mansion that I miraculously managed to build in a half hour.I don't have a magic gnome named Cleetis,who can turn tummy lint and toe jam into chinease food,but only during reruns of "The Facts Of Life."Me,I'm just your average Joe,sorry Eric,who works hard, pays his taxes,and hopes to one day meet Kelly so I csan tell her how wonderful she and all her fans are.God Bless.
