I know it's hard to hear that you didn't win anything and stuff.. And I can understand that youre hurt about this! I must be honest im not much on here so i didnt read any of your poems.. id love to read one some day.. Im sure they're really good cos everyone says so.. Im sure youre a great writer! And maybe it is a good idea to ask for the judges raport so you know what you did wrong.. You can only grow from bad critics thats why it's so important that everyone is honest with you! I can also understand that you didnt want to write anymore.. But if its your dream, your passion, your love you should go on with this.. screw those judges.. Maybe it will take some time for you to write again.. but im sure you eventually will write again.. from what I read is that everyone enjoys reading your poems and songs.. and im sure i will when i read them.. i dont think its becos of the translations and stuff.. I think its becos of the opinions from the judges.. its their opinion which poem is going to win.. and who knows, maybe they liked a crappy one or maybe they liked a really good one.. Most of us on here think you are the best.. just keep on doing what you like best, writing.. whether it's in english or dutch (can understand why you hate dutch, im dutch as well) Soon there will be an other contest and youll be sending your poems in.. and you might win that one.. if not just fight further and harder for the next contest!
PS, Can someone post one of the poems if its allowed? I got curious and i want to read it.. I suck at writing really! But I think everyone has this special gift and im sure writing is yours!

yeah, it kinda was, but that?s mostly because i did so much for it, if i really did so much for it and it means so much to me, that why it hurt a little and my heart is in all the poems i?ve send which also made it kinda hard

i did asked for the judges raport in an e-mail and she said that they don?t make judge raports for every contestant, but she said that she send my poems to the judge president of the contest and asked her to give me personal feedback, so that?s also cool i think and it?s cool that she did that for me, she is the person where i have/had contact with, cuz i had to send my poems to her, lol
but it will take sometime before i get the feedback, but ow well, i hope it?s helpfull, though it are only tips for my Dutch poems, but maybe i can also use it in my English ones, but my mentor told me that i don?t have to change my writing style and that i have to stay myself, so i need to use that feedback and stay myself and keep my own writing style
and you?re right i can grow from bad critics, though like i said i won?t change my writing style and i will stay myself

maybe you?re right that it?s about their opinions and not about the translations, but i will find out hopefully
well the one that was 2nd weren?t crappy, they were good only with another style then i write with, lol
idk if i am the best, there are more good writers on here (not saying that i?m a good writer), like Katrina, Robert, Mel, Rachel, Kelly_for_life (forgot your name sorry), Supergirl (forgot her name sorry), Paul and more, there are great writers on Kellyville

and writing is not the only thing that i love, i also love writing my fanfic, painting, drawing, Photoshopping, playing pc games, listening to music and i?m going to try to make songs of my poems/songs with Magix Music Makes, but i can?t sing, i just wanna try, lol, but i 1st need to buy that program, hahaha
and i will keep on writing more in English then Dutch, English is way better and not so direct as Dutch
and cool that you understand why i hate Dutch, lol, you should translate SUBG and then you know enough, haha, that?s what people did in my class when SUBG was 1st out here in Holland, that?s why i didn?t noticed that SUBG was/is such a great song and that?s why i didn?t noticed that Kelly is so freakin coolbeans, hahaha
stupid Dutch translations of English songs, they screw the songs up
and i hope that there will come other contests where they will notice me, lol and i hope i do have a good chance there and i will keep on fighting when i don?t win
