Thought this would be fun to post your experences on where you bought your copy of MD. I bought it at 7:40 this morning on Itunes after getting the confirmation e-mail from them. I then went to the store and bought the CD of course I'm not the one to read directions though so It wsn't in my purchased list and I freaked however after getting to my account on there I found it and downloaded it. I'm getting the physical copy from Amazon and that should be at home waiting for me when I get back from my grandparent's house next week. I'm currently digging into right now nad I'm playing one of my favorite songs "Irvine" right now. Hope to hear your stories soon.

Haha, this is the story about "How I Got my My December". It's pretty lengthy, so I won't blame anyone who decides to skip it and read the next reply! 

Well, yesterday noon, during my lunch break, I  travelled to HMV in town from school. I looked everywhere but can't find it. So I decided to ask the guy in charge of the section I was at. He also couldn't find it, so he helped me check the system and found out they don't have it yet.

Disappointed, I went out of the store and called up Sony BMG, lol. I thought they lied to me when I called them the other day abt the release date. But then, this time, they told me they indeed are sending out the CDs to the stores today, but I probably can't get it until tomorrow. I was so disappointed cos I thought I can finally get the CD. (especially since I've resisted previewing the songs online while everyone seems to have already heard them all )

But I decide to go downstairs, to check again, like just in case.. And luckily I did! When I went down, guess what was playing on the plasma TVs? Never Again video! I was like woohoo, and just stood there and watched. Straight after the song finished, I turned to this lady at the cashier and ask her about MD again. She helped me check the system and again, told me they don't have it yet.

So I told her, "But Sony BMG told me they sent it out today!"
She was like, "Who?"
"Sony BMG."
She looked a bit stunned for a moment (lol), and went to check with her manager, who then told her they'd received the CDs. She then asked me to come back after 6pm, so they could put it on the shelves.

And so I went back to school, brimming with anticipation and excitement that I can finally get it today! I went back to HMV after school, and there it was! Right there at the front shelf near the entrance! How sweet! So I immediately grabbed a copy and went straight to the cashier to pay for it!

At first I wanted to run home to listen to it, then I walked past the shelf again and noticed they have the CD previewer player, and MD was on disc One. So i decided to listen to it then and there. I put on the headphones and pressed play. The powerful sound of NA kissed my ears and the feeling was absolutely magical! 

I previewed 1 minute of every song the CD and all of them blew me away! I knew I'm going to like the album, I didn't expect to LOVE it! It was totally kick ass. I stood there listening, wondering why the hell Clive didn't like it.

Well none of the walmarts around me are open 24 hours, so this morning, I woke up at like 6:30ish and (of course) wore my kelly shirt to walmart. So Walmart opened at 7 and we got there at 5 after. So I walked to the back where the music section is and they had just started opening boxes with the new releases, so I asked the lady with the cd box if My December was in there, and she kinda looked at me weird, and then was like "Oh! Kelly Clarkson's new CD! Yea, it's right here" and grabbed it out of the box! So I was the first one to buy it at the walmart near me!!! IT'S AMAZAZING!!

Well I didn?t have to go far to get my copy I walked to my front door at 9:30 to find it in my post lol I had it delivered I got it yesterday its amazing  i love "irvine" oh and "yeah"
and thats how I got my copy

OK Here's my story

Been going insane for the past few months, then it was like 2 days until the 23rd & I was like ZOMG just 2 days until My December is in stores, then it was one day until it came out.

Went to sleep, woke up at 8am went to the shops just before they opened, got a Hot Chocolate for Michelle's, sat down drank it, then at 8:30am walked into Sanity (CD shop) walked to the counter with my receipt  & the lady went to the back of the store & got my copy of My December, while I waited I looked around & saw a ton of copies of My December on the shelves   

The lady handed me a bag with my "Special CD" in it, I raced home, switched on my mac, got out "My December" and loaded it into iTunes, quickly made a CD-R copy to screw around with, then read the booklet finally before putting the original copy away from harms way, then

BA BOOM, blasted the volume and clicked play on My Macbook Pro and "KaZaaaAAM" I listened to My December and words can't describe how good it was the first time I listened to it



Oh BTW since I've had the album for like 4 days now, I've listened to it over and over like 14 times now, really digg it.

Will the quality of the CD be lowered when we rip and burn the music onto a blank disc? As in, will there be a difference in quality between the original CD and  the burnt one?

well since were swapping stories...
i got out of work early (THANK GOD)
and my best friend (curious cat) and I went to Walmart.
We ran to the music section of walmart and literally could not see one darn cd. Finally I saw a stack of boxes and immediately went through them while being stared at by a walmart employee. So I asked the employee to help me and as soon as she handed us our cds never again began to play over the "walmart radio" and it ended EXACTLY as we were handed our receipt. Now tell me thats not destiny lol

Will the quality of the CD be lowered when we rip and burn the music onto a blank disc? As in, will there be a difference in quality between the original CD and  the burnt one? 

There shouldnt be, but burn it at a lower speed as they can help quality also don't use any applications while burning as that can make it skip (handy tips)

If you make an exact copy then there is no quality loss, if you rip the CD into MP3's and then burn the MP3's to a CD, there is a major loss in quality & it is noticeable on High Quality large stereo systems.

I got mine yesterday at 11pm.  I pre-oredered from itunes, and it was available at midnight eastern time.  Since I live in the midwest, I got it sort of an hour early.....so I felt special!

So last night at around 12:30, I went to Wal*Mart to buy the c.d. and to my surprise they had yet to stock anything until 9 in the morning. So I went back home, went to sleep, and then went to Target as soon as the doors opened at 8 a.m. this morning. Wal*Mart, eat your heart out cuz Target had em' stocked!!!

But I'm completely in love with the c.d. It fits my life so perfectly at this moment in time!!! Safe to say, it will be living in my c.d. player!

well let me see here. i got up at 5:45 am and got ready for school and drove to wal-mart to get the cd, and they didn't have them out yet. i was very mad. lol. so i drove to a different city, to their wal-mart and they had it!! i just picked up my three copies and walked up to the check out line and was like ummm i'd like to buy these. she's like "you know they're all the same cd right?" i just looked at her and was trying so hard to not be like duh!!! lol. so that's how i got my cds this morning!!
