Well I've written a song and I was just wondering if anyone else has written lyrics or music of there own?

Yeah thats why I write lyrics... if I could write music I would but sadly I can't play anything but I'm learning the piano...

I can only play gutiar (only acoustic,learning electric),every time i'm going trough something,or just for the fun of it I grab my notebook and start writing!

Oh i know what you mean I write poems which at lot of them turn into lyrics but yeah when ever I need to write I gab my notebook and write and before i know it verses just start pouring out onto the pages...

i write a lot of my own stuff...dont really put them into full songs..i just usally write down verses on stickies whenver im feeling something or it clicks..hah i should put them together soon lol

yeah thats how my verses started they just started as random lines I came up with and then later I put them together... I'm sure they'll be great

^ wow ya'll are so right and yeah it's therapy like Kelly says, but i write more poems then songs, i wrote a few songs, one is a Christmas song, hahaha but i totally love to write, only i kinda have a writersblock cuz i'm not allowed on the pc for the holiday, well not on the internet and stuff, so i just don't put lines in my head anymore but i miss writing so freakin much, cuz it helps me

I love writing as you well know but yeah I write poems as well but most of my poems turn into songs after awhile cause ya know song lyrics are like verses from poems lol... and sorry to hear that you have writers block and that you can't get on your pc  :'( :'( :'( but I hope you can soon and you can write more cause I know how it feels to need to write...
