Topic: What's going on? Where is she?

I feel like Kelly Clarkson and her promotion of My December is at a complete standstill.  Nothing is happening!!  I never hear her songs on the radio...there is no Sober video...no definite word on her next single...no scheduled TV appearances or performances...no updates on her rescheduled tour.

It's so frustrating!!  I want nothing more than for her to succeed and have as much success with My December as with Breakaway...but doing nothing is getting her nowhere!!!

Does anyone else feel this way?  Does anyone think something will be happening anytime soon?  What do you think needs to happen for her to climb out of this hole?

I feel exactly th same ... UK have had NOTHING neither have any counrty really outside the US .. although Austrailia have been getting a few radio interviews lately?!!? Its now been a long time since NA was released ... I guess she is haviong a tough time, there will always be a reason with Kelly because she loves nothing more then touring and promoting because it means she meets a lot more of her fans ... so there's deffinately a reason

LOL! I feel the same way.  Kelly knew this wouldn't be a mainstream album.  She did it for herself and for the fans.  So I don't care about promotion-- let's get those tour dates set!!!

It seems everyone is at a loss with the album and I still think the sales of the album will have an effect on the tour

i think clive is holding her back from releaing the tour dates for this fall.....but anyway, i agree with dontbreakawayfrom yeah ppl are starting to like her song (i mean ppl at live earth)who dont have kc cd they are buying it cause HOF is sooooo darn catchy!! luv ya kelly!!

Kelly had said from the start this isn't an album she cares about selling billions of copies of.

This album is more of a transition from the 'do this pop song' to 'this is what Kelly can do'.

The album is actually doing well in comparison to most albums and how the industry is nowadays. record sales overall suck because of digital downloading (epecially illegal downloading). to go gold within the first month, is awesome.

Naturally, peopel will compare it's sales to that of Breakaway, which isn't fair to this album, it's not Breakaway, not even close to it, nor was Kelly trying for another album of that type.

This album, even Never Again as a single, had a run very much like most these days. AS fans of Kelly's, it's normal to want it to do even better, but no one should be dissapointed in how it has done.

I'm getting really fustrated,because every week "My December" is going down on the charts,I maybe be selfish saying this,but I hate seeing something that I really love go down and down,I know Kelly said she didn't care to about selling millions,but I at least want to see her hard work succeed into a platiuam record,I think there should at least be some promotion for this well desvered album!

it seems like most every album out right now doesnt have much for promotion. change of management didnt help in any way

One question...how do you measure succes?? Is it selling 100 albums, 1000albums, 1milllion albums? I think success is when you want something so bad and then it happens...thats succes! Kelly wanted this album to get out and it did! Thats successful. So what if it don't sell 11million copies...its out there for life! There will always be that one person who picks it up and says "i'll buy this one!" Kelly is fine...no need to worry!

BTW....can't wait for the Sober video, and tour dates...hehe

lalalala....i'm just gonna relax...cd didn't go so well. just give the tour time. there's a plan...no matter what people will say, whatever happens is meant to happen, even if it doesn't seem good.
