all the 'confirming sources' are very unreliable...

Kelly herself said she is working on an album for next year, what type of album, and who she may work with, only she knows.

The media (espcially Fox and the gossip shows) twist things liek crazy just to get gullable viewers and ratings.

If anyting, there will probably be a compromise made on the album.

okay this bull sh!t!who cares how many albums kelly sells?i sure dont..if i like it im happy...if kellylikes it and is proud of it then im happy.she said herself she doesnt care hoiw many it sells,but that she was happy seh got what she wanted out.and if clive was putting down her writting then why cant she have a "tantrum?" and diss him?he pretty much did it to her and everyone else by saying  "my december' would suck.and the only people iv heard say it sucks is the media who cant get their darn facts straight anyway.and i dont think her goin country is bad..like she said she wants to put something new and different out everytime and country is completely different from anything she has done.but i dont think shell give in completely..shell get what she wants and do what she wants.whether shes with a company or not ill always love her and her music.me being a fan of hers will never change.

U know if it is true.. Kelly will use her BEST JUDGEMENT.. she always has! Im not going to complain abotu it or say its to early for to release another album.. because if she does I WANT ALL THE KELLY I CAN GET.. and another cd? WELL Bring it on!! Pop or country or RE-release Thankful again.. I dont care because Kelly is kelly and everything she had done so far has been fabalous.. the only concern i would see is that if it interfers with the TOUR that got postponed.. now if it does than theres an issue! Clive made a speech about Kelly working with him and looking forward for the work to start soon ... I can't find it though, but KCFC have said it somewhere

And IF TRUE this pop album could be bad remember guys why Irvine was written in the first place it was because she was heavily promotiong an album (Breakaway) that she didnt have as much control over as she lwould have liked and MD was done completey by Kelly so she would be happy promoting the album this time round .... I dont want her at the stage she was when writing Irvine, thats toooo sad!!

Her fourth album could be the best thing to happen to kelly if she does another pop album. It will cement her status as a superstar which breakaway was on point to do. Breakaway earned kelly millions of fans worldwide and was what made kelly a star in her vown right. Returning to the breakaway formula without making it breakaway part 2 could be great for kelly as after that album, she would be such a star that she could make any album she wanted without facing any hostility from her record label. And its not as though kelly won't have any say in the album because like Breakaway where she wrote many of the songs, she will write on the fourth album and anything kelly produces will be amazing.

And I agree that she's not apologizing to Clive. Well, if anything, she's apologizing to Clive for the media blowing it up. It's silly that every press article reads KELLY APOLOGIZES TO CLIVE regarding this. AHEM SHE DIDN'T, REALLY.

i dont think i believe it because Kelly says she doesnt really wanna release songs that she hasnt experienced what its written about and the probablity of these songs meaning anything to Kelly is pretty slim. I just think its the media making something out of nothing again.

Kelly Clarkson gets the picture, finally.

There was no bucking the system, and no going against Clive Davis. Sources tell me that Clarkson has agreed, through her wise new manager Narvel Blackstock, to make a pop album for release in 2008 with songs selected by Davis and his team.

Clarkson's acquiescence comes at the end of a long melodrama concerning her current, turgid album "My December," which features a lot of ragged self-penned songs by Clarkson about a relationship gone sour.

Davis didn't like the album, considering it was the follow up to Clarkson's multimillion selling "Breakaway." But he released it, and Clarkson responded by dissing him and then apologizing earlier this week.

In the meantime, "My December" is sort of free-floating away now, and will probably sell a respectable 850,000 copies in the U.S. and maybe the same worldwide.

Clarkson gets points for trying out her chops as a songwriter, but demerits for not following anyone's advice, trying to take on the record industry's most astute executive maybe of all time and acting like a 25-year-old

(which is, in fact, her age.)
