My Friend

My dearest friend you left me
standing all alone
My body's numb with sorrow
I don't know my way home
i'm lost depressed and frightened
For your not here with me
And somehwere deep inside my heart
My friend you'll always be
I know you couldn't help it
and you didn't want to go
but nonetheless you've left me
stranded all alone
Although i have my parents
and other friends so close
I don't know why it is
But i love you friend the most
you're kindness unto others
has washed up onto me
you helped me out when times were tough
and you helped to make me see
you have been so good to me
and as i let you go
i kow you were a true friend
and for that i love you so
Yet i'm afraid that this is the end
but i will never say goodbye
because you'll always be my friend

Your blue eyes hide black tears,
They are your favorite colours,
The scars that mark your body.
Remind you of all the hard years
You try and fill the hole,
Something to stop the bleeding,
Your friends are like the stiches,
Of the scars that never heal,
(how could the scars you made ever heal)?
You want to be taken for who you are,
Tired of living in black and white,
Fed up with living a lie.

Started thinking the other day,
How much you really mean to me,
You are not worth me going insane,
cause i am not the one to blame,
How could you ever asked me to change?
When you would never do the same,
Then i realized,
I am over you again,
I am over all the pain,
I got over you today,

Courage in A Fire

It's so tragic to just think
Everything you love is gone in a blink
Pictures of loves ones; friends and family
Cries only heard by thoughts of memories
Everything you worked so hard to build
A place in your heart that can't be filled
People killed, or people dying
Heart's break when children are crying
What use to have color is now all black
To you it feels like a surprise attack
Just be thankful for what you've got
With your pride and dignity
That's alot
But i just can't help but admire
All their courage in a fire

Second chance lovers
Staring into her eyes he says i love you
She looks at him in despair
Are you sure you want to use that word
As he looks at her in her eyes she understands his love
And she falls in love as well
This girl has never felt this feeling
The boy has felt this feeling but can't fight it he is in love
This girls is afraid to take the plunge into this relationship
But this is their love,this is their life
They must take that chance
For they are second chance lovers

Growth

Remember when you loved me,
and i was the only one you seen?
Remember when you held my hand,
and how it fit so perfectly?
Remember when you cared
and i was crazy to believe it?
Remember when the feelings faded,
and the passion was no longer there?
Remember when you broke my heart,
and stopped and walked away?
Where i was left alone,
my shatteredd heart left across the floor,
i tried to tape it back together,
as tears came down like waterfalls
to wash away the pain.
They showed me that
even though you broke my heart,
my soul has the chance to move on.
A piece of you will always be with me,
and that's what hurts the most,
and no matter how hard i try,
i will never get it back

Confused in emotions

i break each time you come in
sight,
something isnt righ;
My heart cannot fight anymore
I have already fallen to the floor.
How can i help this feeling,
when will it end,
when will it start,
i'm really starting to fall apart.
My heart conrtols my mind,and
right now i cant think straight
I'm so confused, i can't even
Be asumed anymore.
I can't think of anything,but you
besides feeling blue.

Team fruci (this poem is about my mom)

It's a five letter word
that to some can be obscured
When it hits deep by the heart
it can tear a person apart
My mother pulled through strong
after treatment for so long
Even though cancer is a limitation
my mother is my inspiration
There will always be someone there
we ran supporting women everywhere
Fruci was our team
and Females Under Cancer influence
was our theme

That last one there Jess kina struck home, as my mum just fought cancer, and beat it. She amazed me at her strength through it all. She is an inspiration to me.

Confused in Emotions, well thats me 100% Jess... I get that,very heart felt. I've been there.

I lyk the other 2 also, I just didnt connect as much with them.  Ya got some talent there Jess, its not just sports ur great at.

I like "My Friend" Jess.  Nice job. It reminds me of "Haunted".  Keep writing girl!  One day you'll have a job writing for Hallmark cards only it will a division of Hallmark---Kellymark Cards (the ones that really touch the heart).
