If you liked NSync then you'll love Treat Me Right on the Backstreet CD...JC from NSync wrote and produced it...sounds just like an NSync song. It's one of my favorites
luv yas!

I just wish people would give BSB a chance before saying that they choose Britney because of what she's been through. Backstreet's been through a lot more they just kept it private. I mean, one of their members went to rehab and almost died and has cleaned up and been sober for five years now. And two other members have kids and are great fathers, which we can't really say for Britney. I think that deserves some respect.

I agree you cheerpup but I think The BSB just had to stop..idk that time is over. I was always a big fan of them I have three records Backstreet's Back, Millenium( great great cd) and BLack adn BLue and NEver gone...woo I have 4 cds :P Well anyway...they shouldn't come back after Black and Blue in my opinion they said they stopped..well took a break but in my opinion too long, the musicgenre is disappeared...the music industry changed...
We will never forget....
Rest in Peace sweet Bo.

I swear I'm not trying to be mean, but this might sound mean...

You do realize that Kelly basically does the same genre as Backstreet right? Actually she should thank them for giving Max Martin a career because his first hit was Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) and without that song he never would have made it. Backstreet opened doors for a lot of artists, and Kelly is one of them it was just indirectly. Let's face it no matter what she's doing now SUBG is what put her on the map (for Breakaway obviously) and it gained a lot of new fans. Without it she wouldn't be nearly as successful. That's the genre of music Backstreet does. That industry's not dead. It's just that nobody associates people that sing pop music with "pop". There's way too much negativity around that word.

Now, I don't think it's a big secret that I'm a Backstreet fan. I really think that if you guys gave them a shot or watched some interviews and started to get to know their personalities a bit you would really like them. AJ is actually just like Kelly even though you wouldn't know it by looking at him. If anyone's willing to give them a shot I'd be happy to post some links to Youtube videos for interviews or something. But they deserve to be given a chance.

If you're curious here's just one track off their new album.  Give it a shot... Who knows maybe you'll like it.         http://youtube.com/watch?v=iW3Tyr91IV0

ok i know who they once were... my sis was a HUGE fan of them and i was the nsync fan so i know who they were..and haah if u think that they"opened the doors "for future artist, srry but thats a load of crap, im not gonna lie, u should not give them "credit" for them leading up to kellys and others artist success. she is on like level 100 and they are on level 10..maybe....oh and why did u bring kelly into this convo? just leave her out, this topic is about britney and BSB...ok?
i still say britney is better

I was bringing kelly into it because i thought you would understand better considering this is a kelly message board...but since you're attacking me and were once an nsync fan obviously you don't know good music. tell your sister she was on the right side of that.

and i'd be willing to bet money that you didn't even listen to that song...thanks for giving them a chance.

Put yourself in my shoes. You've been a loyal Kelly fan (or someone else since I'm not allowed to talk about her) for 12 years and you're on a Backstreet Boys message board where they hate her and you're trying to explain why they should give her a chance and instead you get attacked by people and get told what you're saying is a load of crap. Thanks.

whoa i never said i "hated"them
i was just never really a fan but they made decent music
no no i said that what u said was a load of crap, something about"they set up the genre to be sucesfull"bcuz of them, i diasgreed

I didn't mean the genre, but they certainly helped. And you know, New Kids helped them. It's just the way it goes. But Backstreet did help start the whole 90s pop craze. It was them and the Spice Girls. They helped NSync (you really can't even deny that lol same management and everything) Britney, Christina, 98 Degrees, and all the other boybands that were only around for a short time.
