Don't forget people, that she had her previous album done and ready to go for months before it was finally released because Clive was sitting on it and was trying to get her to rerecord some tracks. So, it is not entirely impossible for her to have a wonderful new album out in Q4 of this year.

Also, I am sure that Clive wants her to get a new album out soon so that she doesn't loose any fan base, since he thinks that she has alreay... except for us die hard fans that actually LOVE her new album... unlike Clive.

The thing is this:Kelly could make a CD with twelve different versions of "99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall",and it would still be better than anything else,by any other singer out there.I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was released before Christmas.

I think MD shows that clive knows something more then kelly fans would give him credit. I know it was an album kelly claims she didnt care of its success but you know she was hoping it did better then it has and I think MD did lead to a loss of the younger fanbase and some older. This was an album just for teens (in general) and 20's I guess. Kelly might not care about it not being a huge seller but clive/sony/bmg does and she needs to do better if she gets to continue recording. The record company makes it money from album sales. I do think if she makes the album country (which I doubt it will be a full blown country album) she will lose more support and have a hard time competing with carrie.

yah thats true but at the same time she has interviews, concerts, write songs, record songs, music videos, see her family, eat, sleep. i think she shouldnt overwork she needs a break. she has alot stuff to do.

I think the album will be a mix of different genres, she's said before she doesn't just want one sound. And I am confused about clive davis I thought she didn't work with him anymore?

clive is still the head of her record company, but it was her manager Jeff that she fired.

aaah, MD was more of an indie album, I did hear in an interview somewhere she did it more for the fans.

Thats so awesome! Seriously, I hope its released sometime late this year, and if not, early next year! It seems like My December just came out but I already cant wait for a new one!

honestly, all of her songs are so good-- but id like to hear a whole album of NEW UNRELEASED songs.. who knows, maybe she'll put out an acoustic album with this new one, like a dual disc, so she can put dont, all i know, etc, on that album instead of the new one. ya kno?

Anything she puts out is going to be good.

She didn't get rid of Clive and he is realizing that she is not going anywhere in the industry, but only going up higher and he would be stupid to get rid of her. Kelly won't leave him because even if we don't like him, he is a very powerful guy and knows a lot of people. So, if Clive says that Kelly is IT, then they listen to her. And I think that is why her MD album didn't do so well with the radios and so forth.... because Clive wasn't behind her album 100%. If he was behind her album 100%, then so would the media and so forth.

Granted, her hard core fans, US, were behind her 100% and that is why she sold more than Clive said she would. That is why he is realizing that she is bigger than he realized and she is going to be around for a long time!

Cant wait for it, its so cool shes already working on it, and said itll be by christmas time.. or even if its early next yr its probably gonna be awesome like her others!!    \m/
